I have worked for Treetops for 3 and a half years. Sixteen years ago I started working in the Ece sector. I enjoyed it so much that I pursued my teacher training. This turned into a full time career and I haven’t looked back since. I hold a Bachelor in Teaching Early Childhood. My children have been my passion. Bringing them up led me to work in the early years sector. As a parent of three grown up children I have many life experiences that have shaped, inspired, challenged and rewarded me along the way. I am passionate about children learning through play. The Reggio and Pikler philosophies have been an inspiration to me. It gives me much joy working with children and an incredible sense of purpose in doing so. I view children as capable, confident and full of potential. In my role as a kaitiaki I love to provide a learning environment in which all children can thrive, learn, build friendships and most of all enjoy their learning journey! Our philosophy at Treetops says RELATIONSHIP IS ALL and that is always at the heart of my teaching practice! Arohanui ❤️
My Treetops journey started at the end of October 2022, initially filling in as a reliever and supporting in the rooms! I’ve learned and grown a lot from having that practical experience working with the tamariki. I place a lot of importance on getting to know each and every tamariki at Treetops and building those relationships. I stepped in to the administrator role in March 2023, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of it. It provided me with an even greater platform to carry on building those relationships with the staff, parents, and tamariki.
Having three children of my own, I cherish being a parent and sharing in their life’s journey; witnessing their growth and development is truly a privilege.

I’m originally from Taumarunui, but have been around the Franklin area since my high school years. I have recently got married. I have 3 amazing children I have a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood. I have been working in Early Childhood for around 12+years. I have also looked after children in my own home as an educator, and also from a young age I did some babysitting. I have always had a passion for children and connecting them with the wider world since I was young. I am very enthusiastic, lovely, caring and funny. I have worked in several centres and enjoyed every second and gained so much knowledge. In my last centre I was a teacher in the infants room either working with another teacher or by myself, which then came along the opportunity to become head teacher, which was amazing. The age group I love to be with is the infants. I ensure that all children will have fun and gain a sense of loving to learn especially through play, as that’s how I learnt. I am a strong believer in relationships and that it’s not just between me and a child but parents and family as well.
My name is Tracey Nazareth, Kaitiaki of the wonderful Tui room here at Treetops Pukekohe.
A little about me:
As an experienced special needs and ECE educator with 14 years of working with Tamariki, I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that empowers children to lead their own learning.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Piker philosophies, my approach in our room is one that values mindfulness, creativity, and play‐based learning, implementing rituals and rhythms of the day to further cement that sense of belonging and Nurturing.
I feel it that is important to provide an environment where children have the opportunity to explore through all their senses and where the environment is their third teacher.
My name is Alice Miles, I am a fully qualified teacher and have my diploma in early childhood. I have been teaching for 15 plus years and enjoy working with children and helping them learn and achieve their goals.
I have recently started a family and have a little girl. In my spare time I enjoy going on family adventures out with my partner and our girl.
Feel free to come and say hello and introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know you better but also how we can help your family thrive.
Warm greetings to all the Treetops Pukekohe families.
My name is Navneet Kaur. I joined Treetops Pukekohe in September 2021 and have worked as a fully qualified teacher in Kea room. I am so glad that I got to work alongside my wonderful tamariki whom I already know and have an amazing relationship with. I believe in team work, positive communication and relationships and creating a cheerful environment for teachers as well as children so that we can learn through play and sharing laughs.
I look forward to building respectful and reciprocal relationships with Treetops whānau, and supporting tamariki to grow holistically.
